One of the features I rely on most during tax season is the client management portal. It keeps everything organized—IRS links, software training videos, links to tax returns from previous years, return statuses, refund calculator, document storage and much more—all in one place. Over the years, I’ve also come to appreciate its efficiency during peak tax season.
Taxx Savage also helps with tax planning. The yearly comparison reports are useful in identifying actionable strategies for my clients, whether they’re individuals or small business owners. Additionally, features like hypothetical evaluations (e.g., standard vs. itemized deductions) are incredibly valuable when crafting personalized plans.
That said, there’s room for improvement. While the software is reliable, interaction with customer support could be smoother and more responsive. However, after counting to ten and taking a few deep breaths, I can confidently say their shortcomings don’t outweigh the software’s benefits.
